Affirmative Marketing and Lottery Administration

An essential part of the distribution of affordable housing in Massachusetts is availability of opportunities to the widest possible number of households. Thus, the Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan and Tenant/Homebuyer Selection Plans are important documents to review and monitor for accurate implementation. Most often, these plans must be approved by the State Subsidizing Agency prior to project approval, which would include any Local Initiative Program unit.

Metro West CD can create and implement an Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan, including administration of a Lottery, that makes sense for the proposed project and can be approved by the various State agencies.
