St. Joseph Hall

Located at 2 Rosary Drive in Watertown, St. Joseph Hall Apartments provides renters age 62+ with 25 rental apartments, all affordable to households earning up to 30% and 60% of the Area Median Income. This historic building was the Rosary High School for over 50 years, part of an educational campus that was established by the Dominican Sisters of Peace in 1911. The campus has evolved into a multi-generational community of rental apartments, condominiums and a 45-student pre-school.

Metro West CD’s acquisition and moderate rehab, completed in 2013, received $5.5 million in financing support from the Town of Watertown, EOHLC, CEDAC, MHIC, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, the Marshall Homes Fund, and Watertown Savings Bank.

Along with Metro West CD, the project team for St. Joesph Hall included Elton + Hampton Architects and general contractor Curtis Construction Company.
