Metro West CD developed this eight-unit project on behalf of fellow non-profits CAN-DO and the Barry Price Center, both of Newton. The project entailed the renovation of a historic-single family house and the addition of one duplex and one 5-bedroom congregate house. The project received a 40-B comprehensive permit and utilized over $4 million in state and local funds including Community Preservation Act funds, CDBG and CEDAC’s Facilities Consolidation Funds.
