5-Town Assistance Program

For residents of Natick, Needham, Newton, Weston, and Wellesley – Metro West is offering one-on-one housing search/counseling sessions, job and financial planning counseling, and, when funds are available, financial assistance.

Eligibility:

  • Must live in one of the above 5 towns
  • Must meet the income criteria
  • Must complete the “5-Town Assistance Form”
  • Must attend at least one housing search/counseling session

The program offers

  • Up to $500 for back-to-work grant
  • Up to $2500 for a housing-related financial assistance grant

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

Free tax preparation for low-income households

  • Get help preparing your taxes and identify tax credits that your households may be eligible to receive.
  • This free tax preparation service allows families to retain their full refund and avoid typical preparation fees which can be costly.
