The Rent

∙Each unit will be available to households earning no more than 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI-see chart above)

∙Rent will be figured at 30% of the tenant’s income up to a maximum of $1862, plus all utilities

∙Rent subject to annual change based on changes to local AMI and utilities, as well as household size and income.

The Apartment

 

A new rental development at 724 Washington Street in Stoughton has one 2-bedroom apartment available.

Preference for households with 1+ persons per bedroom

Amenities include:

  • Center of town location
  • Walk to the commuter rail
  • In-unit washer/dryer
  • Hardwood floors

The Rent: $1639

 

The rent is restricted and subject to small changes annually.

RENT DOES NOT VARY BASED ON TENANT INCOME unless tenant has a Section 8 or similar housing voucher.

Rents include water and sewer, tenant will be responsible for paying all other utilities.

Boxborough Rental Assistance Program

Now accepting new applications!

Monthly rental assistance of $250 is available to eligible households through the program. The following income limits apply:

Housing units assisted through the program must be located in Boxborough and other eligibility requirements apply; there are a limited number of slots in the program.  COMPLETED APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY AUGUST 15, 2017 TO BE CONSIDERED.
