Affirmative Marketing & Lottery Administration

An essential part of the distribution of affordable housing in Massachusetts is availability of opportunities to the widest possible number of households. Thus, the Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan and Tenant/Homebuyer Selection Plans are important documents to review and monitorĀ for accurate implementation. Most often, these plans must be approved by the State Subsidizing Agency prior to project approval, which would include any Local Initiative Program unit.
