The Metro West CD and CAN-DO team is now working on 236 Auburn St. This 8-unit development is a partnership with the Barry Price Center. They serve individuals and families with developmental disabilities.
The 236 Auburn Street project will create three units of affordable family housing and five units of congregate housing for the Price Center. One of the family units will be in a historic home that was built in 1868. Significant financial support is being provided by the City of Newton and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts through its Facilities Consolidation Fund.
